I'm swimming in sweat. It's really hot here must be more then 30C outside. I'm sitting on my balcony reading a book you can't really do much more and sitting inside with this kind of weather seems to be a shame.
I went and saw the new X-men movie last night. It was pretty good. I don't understand why they run the air condition systems in this country so much. I was freezing in the cinema and I had long trousers and a long sleeve shirt on.
The birds have moved out now. I did not see them leave which was a pity. I would have loved to see them try to make their first flight!
Time to go for a picnic in the park.

So they had graduation weekend here at ND this weekend. I ended up going to a graduation party on saturday. It was very nice even though I hardly know they guy how graduated. But at least I knew the people in which house the party was. It was a very nice house in very green area. I have discovered how green some parts of south bend is. For those of you keeping track: The birds are doing fine. I have seen some other birds (very colorful once actually) hanging around on my balcony. I wonder if they are thinking about moving into my AC as well...
I'm hoping to go scuba diving on wednesday evening. Should be fun.

I just got back from watch 'To kill a mocking bird' at the university cinema. It was very good (and surprisingly long for been a black and white film) and free!
I sure all of you are delighted to here the bird family in my air condition are still doing fine. Mr. and Mrs. bird arrive every 20 seconds or so with a new worm and leave with some white stuff (I don't want to speculate on what it is in case you have not eaten yet...)
I have a nice workout at the gym earlier this evening so I feel like I have deserved a good nights sleep.

Still cold and rainy in south bend. I went to a book shop to get a book to read and ended up with three. Hunter Thompson, a spanish guy and opus. opus is a comic that has recently replaced get fuzzy as my favorite comic.

There was a gospel choir in the book shop. A bit bizarre but very nice.
Liverpool won the FA cup. Yippee! So all I want now is for Sweden to win the world cup and for MFF to win the swedish league.
Because of the cold weather I had a bit of moral dilemma yesterday. A pair of birds have set up home in my aircondition unit. I can sit on my balcony and watch them fly in and out to feed the little ones. They seem to eat an unbelievable amount. Being a parent must be the most ungrateful thing in the world. You spend all your energy in keeping your children fed and worn and they grow ap to be ungrateful teenager who hat you... Back to my dilemma. Over the last couple of weeks the birds have been living in my aircondition which has been turned off since it was not cold or warm so there was no need for it. So I was not really sure what would happen to the little birdies if I turned it on. Would they just be a bit annoyed by the sound or would they be turned into minced meet by the fan? I could not see exactly where they where so it was hard to tell. Yesterday evening the temperature in my flat started to become uncomfortably low and the cold weather is supposed to continue for another couple of days. What to do? Endure a freezing flat and be warmed by the feeling of helping out some poor birds or turn the heating on and risk turing the same poor birds into pulp. Needless to say I turned the heating on (because that's just the kind of guy I am!)
I am happy to report that this morning after I got out of bed, in my nice and warm apartment, and opened my balcony door I could see mama and papa bird still flying into to my aircondition unit with worms in their mouth. So I guess the big fan did not kill off those birds after all. How do you say it? All well that ends well!?
